1. The Service
Hopcheck is a URL redirect inspection tool. It accepts a URL submitted by a user, follows each redirect in the chain one hop at a time, and returns the intermediate URLs, status codes, and any changes detected along the way.
The service is provided as-is, without any warranty, express or implied. The redirect chain data is generated in real time and may be affected by network conditions, target server availability, and changes to the inspected URLs after the check completes.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Hopcheck to:
- Submit URLs for the purpose of harassing, threatening, or harming any person or system.
- Submit URLs that you know or suspect contain malware, phishing content, or illegal material.
- Automate requests at a rate that disrupts the service for other users.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the infrastructure hosting this service.
3. No Accounts, No Data Storage
Hopcheck does not create user accounts. No submitted URLs are stored or logged. Every request is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the response is sent. There is no history, no saved checks, and no way to retrieve a previous result.
4. Rate Limiting
The service may apply rate limiting to prevent abuse. This is not a guaranteed uptime or availability commitment. If you exceed a reasonable usage threshold, you may receive a 429 response and should retry after a brief delay.
5. Third-Party Content
When Hopcheck follows a redirect to a URL you submitted, it fetches that URL server-side and reports the response. The content of the inspected URLs is not controlled by Hopcheck. We do not endorse, monitor, or guarantee the accuracy of any content reached through submitted URLs.
6. Billing
Hopcheck offers a Free tier that requires no payment or account, and a Pro subscription currently in development. This section describes the billing terms that will apply once the Pro plan is available for purchase.
What you buy. A Pro subscription grants access to batch URL checks, CSV export of results, copy-as-text hop chains, saved URL presets, and priority feature requests — as described on the Pricing page.
Price and billing period. The Pro plan is priced at $9 per month (USD), billed monthly in advance. The price will be displayed at checkout and will not change during the current billing period. Any future price change will be communicated at least 30 days before it takes effect.
Trial. The operator may offer a trial period at their discretion. If a trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.
Failed payments. If a payment fails (card declined, expired, or insufficient funds), the subscription will be retried automatically up to 3 times over 5 days. If all retries fail, access to Pro features will be suspended until a successful payment is processed. No data is deleted during suspension.
Refund policy. All Pro subscription charges are final. Refunds are not provided for partial months of service. If the service is discontinued by the operator, a prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the billing period.
No payment processor connected yet. As of August 2026, no payment processor is connected to this service. The Pro subscription cannot accept real payments at this time. Checkout flows on the site are demonstrations only.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hopcheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on redirect chain data for business decisions, campaign attribution, or security assessments.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
No governing law or jurisdiction is specified because no legal entity has been registered for this service. This section must be updated by the operator before these terms can be enforced in any jurisdiction.

No contact address is available yet — this service has no registered entity and no mailbox on any domain in this fleet. Until the operator provides one, questions about these terms cannot be answered by email.
